St. Martinville

St. Martinville

St. Martinville is the parish seat of St. Martin Parish and the third-oldest city in Louisiana. The Bayou Teche runs through the town, located to the east of Broussard. 2020 U.S. Census Bureau estimates the population to be just under 5,700. The St. Martinville Historic District is on the National Register of Historic Places for the large number of historic residences and other buildings present.
